Chelsey Mullen, DVM

Dr. Chelsey Mullen grew up in central Massachusetts, where she proudly raised and trained her own dog, Bella. She had a strong desire to learn how to ride horses from a very young age and competed in the Interscholastic Equestrian Association throughout high school. In 2016, Dr. Mullen earned a Bachelors of Science in Animal Science with a minor in Biochemistry from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. While there, she was active in managing the UMass Belted Galloway beef herd in addition to working at the UMass equine facility.
Dr. Mullen decided to continue her education in her home state of Massachusetts, and attended the Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. While studying at Tufts, she was also the Vice President of the student chapter of the American Association of Equine Practitioners and worked as a student technician in both the large animal hospital and the small animal emergency room. With her love for farm animals, she found that she enjoyed working at the school’s teaching farm with their Holstein heifers, beef herd, sheep flocks, swine farm, and chicken flock. In 2020, Dr. Mullen graduated with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and became a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. She practices both small and large animal medicine and has a special interest in surgery and reproduction. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Mullen enjoys spending time with her dogs and cats, riding her sweet mare, and discovering new hiking trails.
